Semrush vs Ubersuggest: What Client Report Exports Cost

Semrush is the lower-cost documented path to one client PDF report: $0, with scheduling included. Semrush Free includes one Base report that can be exported to PDF and sent daily, weekly, or monthly to as many as three recipients. Ubersuggest includes image, CSV, and PDF export on Individual at $12 per month, but its current pricing page does not document automatic recipient scheduling.
That makes this a workflow decision, not a general verdict on which SEO platform is better. Choose Semrush when one recurring report is the deliverable. Consider Ubersuggest when its lower-priced paid SEO workspace and export limits fit the job, and scheduled delivery is not a documented requirement.
The Short Answer
- Semrush — Semrush Free includes one Base report with PDF export and daily, weekly, or monthly delivery to up to three recipients.
- Ubersuggest — Ubersuggest Individual costs $12 monthly and includes image, CSV, and PDF export, while automatic recipient scheduling remains undocumented on its current pricing page.
| Tool | Best for | From | Free | Report export |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Semrush | One Scheduled PDF at $0 | $117.33/mo (annual) | Yes | Free plan exports |
| Ubersuggest | Paid Export from $12 | $12/mo | Yes | Cheapest paid plan exports |
What this comparison measures
We compared the lowest currently published path to a PDF output that can be handed to a client. We counted a free allowance when the vendor explicitly included the export, and we did not turn a free signup button into a free-PDF claim. We also kept export and automatic delivery separate: a tool can document PDF export without documenting scheduled recipient emails.
On 2026-09-28, Semrush’s My Reports documentation listed one Base report on Free. Base includes PDF export plus daily, weekly, or monthly scheduling, and free accounts can send or schedule a PDF to up to three recipients. Semrush’s current pricing page also lists Free at $0.
On the same date, Ubersuggest’s current pricing page listed Individual at $12 per month, Business at $20, and Enterprise at $40 on the monthly tab. Each paid plan included the same “Export images, CSV and PDF” line. The page did not establish PDF export on limited free access or automatic recipient scheduling on the paid plans.
The verified paths are not the same product shape
| Required outcome | Semrush | Ubersuggest |
|---|---|---|
| One PDF export | $0 on Free | $12/month on Individual |
| Automatic delivery | Daily, weekly, or monthly on the free Base report | Not documented on the current pricing page |
| Recipient limit | Up to 3 on Free | Not documented on the current pricing page |
| Paid-plan export line | Base report from $10/month if more report capacity is needed | Image, CSV, and PDF export included from $12/month |
The $12 difference is only the visible price gap. Semrush documents a report builder that can combine its data with Google Analytics and Google Search Console, then deliver the PDF on a schedule. Ubersuggest documents export formats across its three paid plans. Those are both useful outputs, but the public pages do not prove that the resulting files have the same layout, branding, integrations, or automation.
One Scheduled PDF at $0
1. Semrush — One Scheduled PDF at $0
Semrush is the complete $0 route when one Base report is enough. The free allowance includes PDF export and daily, weekly, or monthly scheduling. A free or trial account can send that PDF to up to three recipients. The restriction is in the email wrapper: free accounts cannot put URLs in the custom email message.
Capacity beyond the first report is priced per report. Semrush lists each additional Base report at $10 per month and each Pro report at $20 per month. Pro adds external integrations, hourly or specifically timed delivery, branding, white-labeling, link sharing, and a custom domain. None of those upgrades is required for the one scheduled PDF measured here.
From $117.33/mo (annual). Free plan: 1 demo project, 10 reports per day across core tools, and 1 Base report with PDF export and scheduled email delivery.
- SEO — $139/mo, or $117.33/mo billed annually
- Starter — $199/mo, or $165.17/mo billed annually
- Pro+ — $299/mo, or $248.17/mo billed annually
Report export Free plan exports — The Free plan includes 1 Base report. Base reports combine data from 20+ Semrush tools with Google Analytics and Google Search Console, and include PDF export plus daily, weekly, or monthly scheduling; a free or trial account can send or schedule the PDF to up to 3 recipients. Additional Base reports cost $10/mo per report. Pro reports cost $20/mo per report and add 20+ external integrations, specifically timed delivery, branding and white-labeling, link sharing, and a custom domain.
Pros
- One scheduled PDF Base report is included on the free plan; paid toolkits include 3 Base reports
Skip it if
- Free accounts can send scheduled reports to only 3 recipients and cannot include URLs in the custom email message
Paid Export from $12
2. Ubersuggest — Paid Export from $12
Ubersuggest’s current monthly plan cards put the qualifying paid path at $12. Individual covers one user, and its feature list includes image, CSV, and PDF export. The same export line appears on Business at $20 per month and Enterprise at $40.
The vendor also offers limited free access, but the public page does not say that free access includes PDF export. It likewise does not document automatic recipient scheduling on the paid plans. We therefore price the confirmed export at $12 and leave scheduling unconfirmed. We do not convert missing documentation into a claim that Ubersuggest lacks the feature.
From $12/mo. Free plan: A limited free account is available after downgrade, but the public pricing page does not document PDF export on it.
- Individual — $12/mo · 1 seat
- Business — $20/mo · 2 seats
- Enterprise — $40/mo · 5 seats
Report export Cheapest paid plan exports — All three paid plans list "Export images, CSV and PDF" outright, including Individual at $12/mo. The pricing table publishes a 2,000-row per-report export allowance for Individual across several research modules. No separate export add-on is required, and automatic recipient scheduling remains undocumented on the current pricing page.
Pros
- Export is bundled into every paid plan with no separate add-on
Skip it if
- The pricing page offers a trial; a separate official landing page describes limited free keyword-research access, but we did not verify PDF export on that free access
- The current pricing page does not document automatic recipient scheduling for exported reports
The decision rule
Choose Semrush when the exact requirement is one recurring PDF delivered without a paid subscription. Its current documentation supports the entire chain: one free Base report, PDF generation, a schedule, and up to three recipients.
Choose Ubersuggest when you already want its paid SEO workspace and a documented PDF export is enough. Individual is $12 month to month, but budget the decision around export rather than automation until the vendor publishes a current scheduling rule or you verify it inside an account.
For the four-tool view, read which SEO tools export a real report without an extra purchase. The one-report cost calculation keeps Semrush, Ahrefs, Ubersuggest, and Surfer on the same deliverable. If the comparison is specifically Semrush versus Ahrefs, the scheduled-report guide prices that separate decision.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Semrush or Ubersuggest cheaper for one client PDF report?
Semrush has the lower published qualifying cost for one report: $0. Its free plan includes one Base report with PDF export and scheduled delivery. Ubersuggest lists image, CSV, and PDF export on Individual at $12 per month, but we did not verify PDF export inside its limited free access.
Can Semrush send a scheduled client report for free?
Yes, within a narrow allowance. Semrush says the free plan includes one Base report, and Base reports support daily, weekly, or monthly PDF delivery. A free account can send or schedule that report to up to three recipients, but cannot place URLs in the custom email message.
Does Ubersuggest include PDF export on its cheapest paid plan?
Yes. Ubersuggest's current monthly pricing tab lists Individual at $12 and includes image, CSV, and PDF export. Business is $20 and Enterprise is $40, with the same export line. The page also shows limited free access, but does not establish PDF export on that free access.
Can Ubersuggest automatically email scheduled PDF reports?
The current public pricing page does not say. It confirms image, CSV, and PDF export, but does not document automatic recipient scheduling. That absence is not proof the feature is unavailable; it means we cannot include scheduling in the verified Ubersuggest path without another current primary source or an account test.
Did ToolFind AI generate and inspect reports from both tools?
No. This is a current published-plan comparison, not a hands-on report-quality test. We checked each vendor's official pricing and reporting documentation on September 28, 2026. We did not compare PDF layout, data accuracy, branding, or the number of manual steps inside either account.
