For each tool we identified the cheapest plan that produces an editable PPTX — not the cheapest plan overall — and recorded both its monthly and annual rate from the vendor’s own pricing page. Which free plans export a PowerPoint file at all is settled in our free-plan review; whether the resulting file is actually editable is settled in our export test. The annual column is where it stands out, and not favourably: MOVO’s pricing page offers an annual billing tab whose rate never loads, so it is the only tool here with no annual figure to compare. We’re leaving that cell empty rather than asking you to assume a discount exists.

There’s no free plan to test against either — the trial is 14 days and takes a card up front, billing automatically unless you cancel.

Only if you prepay a full year. Beautiful.ai's month-to-month rate for the same individual Pro plan is $45/mo, which we read from its own pricing page. That 3.1x difference is the widest we could measure here, and $45 is also the highest monthly price in the group, $20.01 above the next one.
Why is MOVO AI on a list published by the company that makes it?
Because leaving it off would be its own kind of dishonesty — we'd be publishing a price comparison of this category with a conspicuous hole in it. What we won't do is grade our own homework: MOVO's row carries no export verdict from us, only its published price, which you can check against its pricing page exactly as you can check every other row here. It places fourth of six on monthly cost.
Does Plus AI belong in a comparison about export cost?
We think so, for the opposite reason to the others. Plus AI runs inside PowerPoint and Google Slides rather than exporting to them, so the file is already a native PPTX and there is no export step that could degrade it. Its cost still belongs on this list because there's no free plan — $10/mo annually, $15/mo monthly.
Do any of these prices include the cost of running out of AI credits?
No, and that's a real gap in this comparison. Every price here is the plan's list rate. Credit consumption, overage purchases, and per-generation limits vary by tool and we have not measured them against a standard deck, so we're not putting a number on them. Treat these totals as a floor, not a ceiling.
